Synopsis: Clint Barton has a coffee addiction.  One day that addiction brings him to The Elysian Fields coffee shop where he meets you.  Soon Clint feels like his addiction isn’t just caffeine-based.  But things are not as they seem.  With a store that only appears under certain conditions, no customers, and a dog the size of a Dire Wolf, Clint isn’t sure there’s not more going on with you and he isn’t sure how to figure out if his feelings are real or just a side effect of his addiction.

Chapter 7

Clint was excited.

Tired – yes.  He’d gone all day without any caffeine and he’d started to get withdrawal shakes.  But mostly – he was excited.

Having clarity about how he felt about you was like having a weight taken off his shoulders.  There was still the fear and apprehension of new love and a future that he always expected to fuck up.  There was still the extra added pressure of the fact you were a god and he was just a regular mortal guy.  Yet, even with all that, he was going out to dinner with you and he knew he was in love.  He wanted to do the hard stuff because he knew he loved you and you were worth every potential struggle that could pop up.

Chapter 5

Clint stood in the middle of The Elysian Fields coffee shop blinking between Stephen  Strange and Hati.  The huge wolf-like dog was stalking toward the Sorcerer with its hackles raised and seemingly growing larger with each step.  Strange had two glowing disks around his hands and he held them up like shields.

Clint was more confused than he had ever been.

“…why exactly are you housing a Warg?” Stange asked as Hati began to growl.

“Hati!” you shouted, stepping forward and pressing your palm on the giant dog’s head.  “What are you doing?  Stand down!”

Chapter 4

Clint wondered if it was possible to be addicted to another person.  Not just in a psychological way where you just felt better around a person than when you were apart, but in an actual physical addiction where the chemicals of the brain were altered and you’d go through withdrawals if you didn’t see them.  Where you experienced a real high when you were together, and when you were apart you started to feel like you couldn’t quite function properly anymore and all you could think of was when you could get back together again.

That’s how Clint was starting to feel about you.  Each time he saw you it was like a rush.  His energy spiked and he felt jittery in an excitable way.  Where he could talk a mile a minute and there was nothing he could do wrong.  When you were apart, his thoughts were overwhelmed by thoughts of when he could see you again and if he went too long, he started to feel a little sluggish and hard to get started.

Chapter 3

Clint was excited about his date.  It hadn’t taken him long to decide to call you – he was never really one to play the kind of games most people did when dating.  If he liked someone, he let them know.  Sure sometimes he misread how serious someone was about him and ended up either going too hard or not hard enough about where the relationship was and he either ended up hurting them or chasing them off.  That was different. It was accidental and not born out of a need to control things.

Chapter 2

“I swear to god, Nat.  It was right here!”

Clint had walked up and down the street with his best friend in tow a dozen times now.  He’d moved a block down on either side to make sure he hadn’t gotten the names confused and then returned to the original street again.

Your coffee shop was gone.

Chapter 1

Clint often wondered how people without caffeine addictions managed to make it through the day.  He was sure those people existed.  There were morning people who got up and went for a run on just a smoothie and good vibes.  That wasn’t Clint.  Today Clint had woken up to a broken coffee machine and had seriously considered just pouring coffee grounds straight into his mouth just to get him out the door.  He felt like he was dragging himself along the street, and he was sure he should have passed at least three Starbucks and two bodegas that he could have gotten a coffee from in the time he’d been walking and yet, his sleep-addled mind either was misjudging the distance or was remembering things wrong because nothing was jumping out at him.

In:  A Hawkeye Fanfic

Buy me a coffee with Ko-fi
Character pairing:
Clint Barton x Reader

Word Count:  1341

Warnings:  Smut (MF, shower sex, vaginal sex, hookups)

Synopsis:  After a particularly hard mission, you accidentally walk in on Clint taking a shower.  He makes you an offer that he didn’t expect you’d take him up on.

A/N:  I was reading an old Avengers comic and Echo walked in on Clint in the shower, and he made the offer in this fic.  She chose the opposite.  Bad choice, Echo.  Bad choice.  Anyway… here you go.

In

It had been a hard mission.  Not just physically.  Though it was that too.  You were bruised in places you didn’t even know existed and more than one teammate had come home with broken bones.  However, it was the mental exhaustion that was that hurt most.  Nothing had gone right, civilians had died, and once again the public was calling for the decommission of the Avengers.  Everyone was blaming themselves and the debrief had been a mixture of arguing and sullen silence.

You were weary right down to the core and you just wanted to take a shower, get a bottle of wine, and go to bed.

You were so caught up in your head that you didn’t notice that sound of water in the bathroom you shared with Clint, Sam, and Natasha.  When you opened the door to a face full of steam, you stopped in shock and blinked slowly your brain too sluggish to connect the steam with the shower and the large male shape behind the curtain.

The Hookup

The Hookup:  A Winterhawk Fanfic

Buy me a coffee with Ko-fi
Character Pairing:
Bucky Barnes x Clint Barton

Word Count:  2649

Warnings:  Smut (Anal sex, tiny bit of oral sex too, very minor come play)

Synopsis:  Bucky accidentally walks Clint home from the bar and gets an unexpected offer.

A/N: Might have been playing Dream Daddy and got inspired.

The Hookup

Bucky walked along beside Clint with his hands jammed into the pockets of his leather jacket.  There was an unseasonable chill to the air and it seemed to want to creep past his layers of clothing and run straight up his spine.

The archer appeared to be immune to it.  He chatted away happily wearing just his t-shirt over jeans and gesticulating wildly as he told Bucky the story of what happened in Tokyo.  Bucky knew Clint was buzzed.  It was probably Bucky’s fault that Clint was buzzed.  He wondered if it was being tipsy that was keeping Clint warm.

They’d been on a mission.  Not a particularly demanding one.  It had been low effort and wrapped up quickly, but all missions required debriefs and Steve had been in fine form, talking on and on and on about what had been done wrong and what had been right.  Like he wasn’t the most reckless and dumbass one on the whole team of reckless dumbasses.

Warnings:  nothing for this chapter

Synopsis: You and Clint Barton go way back.  Since you joined the circus as a child, he took it upon himself to keep you away from the people who really wanted to hurt you.  For years the two of you danced a line between dark and light.

When he chooses light the two of you go your separate ways.

Fifteen years later he tracks you down.  Those feelings the two of you shared never went away, but now he is not only an Avengers but a single father.  Can the two of you make it work after all this time when your lives have gone in such different directions?

A series told in flashbacks and current day.

Epilogue

“Coop!”  Clint called.  “Don’t forget your math book!”

The apartment was chaos.  Lucky was chasing Jasper up and down the stairs.  Ebony was trying to wrangle Nate into his clothes when all the kid wanted to do was run around in his underpants.  Clint was in the kitchen cleaning up and yelling for different kids to behave themselves.  Lyra and Cooper kept running up and down the stairs as they got ready for school.  Each time they’d come down they’d realize they’d forgotten something else and dash back up, their footsteps falling heavily on the polished wood.  You sat, nursing your coffee as you watched it all go down, and despite the noise and the mess, you were happy.  This was home.

It had been a few months since you had let Clint talk you out of killing Jacques Duquesne and for a little while you had resented Clint for it.  It had been so much like the first time, where he’d ended up abandoning you.  All his promises that it would always be you and him abandoned at his chance to join SHIELD.

Chapter 17: Then

Clint was nervous as he followed you along the edge of the rooftops.  Not because he was afraid of being hurt, or getting caught.  You and he had been living in Brooklyn for a few years now in a shitty little apartment in a not great neighborhood and yet things had been going pretty smoothly.  They had a regular gig at the Coney Island Circus Sideshow and Clint even had a part-time job teaching kids trapeze at a trapeze school in Brooklyn.  It was generally enough to pay the rent and utilities and buy food.  On weeks things might get particularly tight because of an unexpected bill or doctor’s visit, you would find some sketchy wall street guy to cat burgle, and the two of you would have enough to make sure you wouldn’t need to do that again for at least a couple of months.

It wasn’t ideal, but the two of you were happy.  He loved being with you, and he loved this sense of stability you had together.
